US hails Attleboro reading program

ATTLEBORO - A specialized reading program credited with sharply increasing student learning at two city elementary schools has been selected as one of the most innovative programs in the country by the U.S. Department of Education.

The Data Driven School Transformation Partnership (DSTP) at the Studley and Thacher elementary schools is part of a program developed by the Bay State Reading Initiative that was recognized by the federal agency as part of its Investing in Education program.
